Health

The goal of the program is to improve the health status of the community, prevent diseases, conduct periodic screening, correct, limit and provide rehabilitation to people with disabilities, provide emergency medical help and train the community in healthy living and better practices.

Sanitation and Hygiene

People-centred and community-led programs to enhance sanitation and hygiene are conducted. Households are encouraged to make informed decisions about their sanitation. Additionally, construction of toilets for economically backward members of the community is undertaken.

Public awareness programs

In partnership with various government and semi government agencies, regular awareness sessions on issues impacting the community are conducted. At least once a month, Focus Group Discussions are carried out for the women members of the community.

Digital and adult literacy programs

In collaboration with government schemes, digital and adult literacy programs are regularly carried out. The focus is to help women complete their formal education, secure jobs, and avail government services.

Community Infrastructure Development

Establishing community level infrastructure plays an important role in supporting individuals, families, groups and communities to meet their social needs, maximise their potential for human development and enhance community well-being.

Rainwater harvesting systems

Short-term as well as long-term rainwater harvesting systems are implemented. Short term system includes construction of ferro cement tanks with a holding capacity of 5000 litres where rainwater collected from roofs of buildings is diverted to the tank.
